JoJo stuns Craig with an account of what she saw the previous night, and later he receives shocking news about his one night stand.
Craig demands silence about what really happened the night of the hit-and-run. After insisting Edna Curtis allow her husband a visit, Sister Scott realizes why the patient is so reticent. Dennis and hospital secretary Helen Gordon are reunited with Helen's daughter Jill. Frank Curtis makes a threat. Laura confesses a partial truth.
Craig begs Laura to keep their secret. Tyrannical Dr. Graham Steele rises to his reputation for Gail's first day working with him in casualty.
