Yogi Bear tries to swindle food out of a family; first by pretending to be an ambassador, then by faking starvation. Ranger Smith tells Yogi and Boo Boo to search for food themselves. While searching around, Yogi is stung by a bee. When he notices their honey supply in a log, he gets the idea to create a barter system; he will give away honey for food from campers.
Yogi and Boo Boo want to try and do something special for Ranger Smith's birthday. Yogi asks visitors to donate food so he can throw a party for the ranger. Ranger Smith suspects that Yogi is up to no good so he sets a trap for him. He is shocked when he finds out Yogi had just been setting up a surprise party.
The Major and Snagglepuss are guests on a television show called This Is Your Strife (a parody of This Is Your Life), and the former chases the latter through various TV studios, including the one Yogi Bear's show is in. This cartoon also includes parodies of You Bet Your Life, Western shows, game shows, Frankenstein, and science fiction shows.
To evade hunters, Snagglepuss disguises himself as a soldier and winds up in an army camp.
A mad scientist switches Chopper's and Yakky's brains, and the two of them drive Fibber Fox crazy.

Unfortunately, an insect biologist thinks Boo Boo is a Magnamus Rex, a bee that gives its victims instant death after one sting. When Boo Boo runs from the ranger and the biologist, he terrorizes the picnickers before Yogi can get the costume off.
n this takeoff of Cyrano de Bergerac, professional poet Cyril D. Snagglepuss is hired to help a suitor win a lady's heart, but something has gone wrong.
Yakky's wings are too weak to take him south for the impending winter, so Chopper tries to find him a home.

Ranger Smith allows a movie crew to film a TV Western in Jellystone Park. The only thing is that nobody bothered to tell Yogi, whose front door has been turned into a Western movie set! The crew builds the set right around Yogi and Boo Boo's cave. The fun really takes off when both Yogi and Ranger Smith manage to get parts as fighting cowboys in a bar scene. Eventually, the production is ruined.
To raise money for a trip, Snagglepuss rents out part of his cave, but his new tenant – Lila – (who is colored yellow) is more than he can stand. Animated by Jack Ozarks.
