Ein verbrecherisches Pärchen will sich darauf nicht einlassen. Das Duo entwendet das Serum – und stirbt daran.
It has been three months since the doomsday cult unleashed the genetically engineered Berlin C virus, and today most of the world is dead or dying. Among the living are a group of hospital patients and their nurse, Marie Alexander (Maria Conchita Alonso), who have survived because they were already under quarantine when the virus struck. They are running out of food and fuel when a soldier arrives with a new vaccine from the Center for Disease Control. But, there's only enough for three doses and it will take three days for the vaccine culture to develop enough to be effective. It falls to Marie to maintain order until the vaccine is ready, and to decide who will get injected.
Cela fait trois mois que le culte du jugement dernier a fait se propager le virus Berlin C, et, aujourd'hui, tout le monde est mort ou mourant. Parmi les vivants, il y a un groupe de malades à l'hôpital avec leur infirmière, Marie Alexander, qui ont survécu car ils étaient déjà en quarantaine quand le virus a frappé. Ils commencent à manquer de nourriture, quand un soldat arrive avec un nouveau vaccin. Mais il n'y a que trois doses, et cela prendra trois jours pour que la culture du vaccin soit suffisamment développée. C'est Marie qui doit maintenir l'ordre, jusqu'à ce que le vaccin soit prêt, et qui doit également décider qui va être vacciné.
Una bacteria resistente a toda clase de tratamientos arrasa toda la población mundial y sólo quedan vivos algunos grupos de personas que permanecen en refugios aislados de la bacteria. Uno de los grupos logra acceder a una vacuna pero sólo hay cantidad para vacunar a 3 personas del grupo.
