Over three rounds, each speller will contribute one letter to the spelling of a word. If a speller gets the letter wrong, they are out of the round. The last speller standing in each round will be safe, and will compete in the ultimate Spelling Bee ... and for the first time in the competition that’s exactly where the spellers want to be.
