SDFに入隊した学は父親の渉と同じシリウス小隊に配属された。そこで待っていたのは新入りの学に対して冷たい態度をとる先輩のブルース。落ち込んでいる学に620号列車で立てこもり事件発生との連絡があった。隊長のバルジから、ブルースとのコンビでの作戦遂行を命じられた学は、犯人に銃を突きつけられ車内で泣き叫ぶ赤ん坊とその母親の悲鳴に衝動を抑えきれず、突入の合図の前に１人車両に踏み込んでしまう…。
