Sally and Nick are having fun trying out different moves when the Cat arrives to show them some cool moves of his own that Pinkie the flamingo taught him. The kids want to learn the moves too, so off they go to Gooney Goon Lagoon! There, they learn all about flamingos—fun moves and all! Back at home the Cat, Nick, and Sally all move together the flamingo way!
Der Kater mit Hut zeigt Nick und Sally besonders graziöse Bewegungen, die ihm die Flamingodame Rosie beigebracht hat. Nick und Sally möchten sie auch lernen. Doch als sie Rosie besuchen wollen, treffen sie zuerst auf Winky, einen kleinen Vogel, der behauptet, ebenfalls ein Flamingo zu sein. Dabei ist die Farbe seines Gefieders nicht rosa, sondern grau. Wie sich herausstellt, muss er erst genug Algen und Schalentiere fressen, um so auszusehen wie alle Flamingos.
