Sheldon bude chtít pracovat bez Amy, tak ta začne spolupracovat s Leonardem. Dalšího člena nerozlučné dvojky nahradí Bert, když si zahraje v kapele. Pamatujete si ještě na jejich kapelu „Otisky na Měsíci“? A Penny se stane Sheldonovi nečekanou inspirací při výzkumu.

Amy og Leonard genskaber eksperimenter fra deres ungdom. Geologen, Bert, erstatter Howard i bandet Footprints on the Moon.

Nachdem Howard und Raj ihre Differenzen beilegen konnten, überlegen sie ihre alte Band wieder aufleben zu lassen. Doch Howard muss feststellen, dass es nicht so einfach ist, Familienleben und Bandproben unter einen Hut zu bringen. So ergibt es sich, dass Bert Howards Rolle übernimmt. Und Sheldon ist frustriert, da es derzeit keine berufliche Herausforderung für ihn gibt. Amy ermutigt ihn, sich zu überlegen, was er Neues beginnen könnte.

When Sheldon kicks Amy out to work solo, she and Leonard bond during a series of science experiments. Also, Bert the geologist replaces Wolowitz in the band Footprints on the Moon, and Sheldon finds Penny a surprising source of scientific inspiration.
