Selim’in tanığının ölümünden kendini sorumlu tutan Canan hala yaşadığı olayın etkisinden kurtulamamıştır. Selim Canan’ı teselli etmeye çalışsa da o da bu olaydan kötü etkilenmiştir. Akgün, Yağmur için endişelenirken kendi babasının ölüm haberini alır ve Selim’le beraber cenazeye katılmak üzere İstanbul’a giderler. Akgün babasını affetmeyeceğini söylemiş olsa da ölümü onu çok üzer. Ancak bu üzüntüsü yerini bir sürprize bırakacaktır. Cenaze dönüşü Selim hızla köstebeğin peşine düşerken Akgün ise Selim’e söylediği yalanların vicdan azabına dayanamaz ve temelli İstanbul’a dönmeye karar verir. Yağmur Akgün’ün bu kararını kabullenmek istemez. Akgün ise İstanbul’a dönmeden önce görülecek son hesabın peşine düştüğünde Selim’in köstebeğe hazırladığı tuzağa doğru yol aldığından habersizdir.
