Marin and Urin are sea folk, people who live in the ocean. One day, a ring falls from the "sky" - that strange place above the water - and the two girls decide to find its owner. But while the surface holds many wonders, it also hides a great darkness..

海の世界で生活する海人、マリンとその妹、ウリン。空（地上）から落ちてきた美しい指輪を拾った二人は、指輪の持ち主を探すため、空（地上）の世界を訪れる。天神子島に辿り着いた二人は、指輪の持ち主である女子高生の夏音に出会う。しかし夏音は、それはいらないから捨てたのだと言って再び指輪を放り投げてしまい…。
