When a new cardian attacks a friend of Mako, she becomes hellbent on revenge. Rei uses her divination powers to discover where the cardian will attack next, and the girls go to challenge the monster. The situation turns dire, however, when the cardian defeats all of the girls and then starts to close in on Sailor Moon. Suddenly a masked man appears and throuws a white rose. He says he is the Moonlight Knight, and attacks the cardian with his sword. After Jupiter recovers and defeats the lion, the man vanishes just as mysteriously as he appeared. Usagis is heft wondering if the mystery man is really Mamoru in disguise.
Alors qu'un monstre attaque, le meilleur ami de Makoto, Shinozaki, est grièvement blessé. Le Chevalier du clair de Lune apparaît pour aider les guerrières à se sortir d'une impasse.
Un nuevo monstruo anda suelto y ataca a Lita, pero su mejor amigo, Kenji, la protege, accidentándose en el acto. El monstruo huye y Kenji es hospitalizado. Lita decide donarle gran cantidad de su sangre para que se mejore pronto; es su mejor amigo aunque Serena y Amy creen que son algo más que eso. Las chicas se reúnen en casa de Rei a discutir sobre el nuevo enemigo, hasta que el monstruo ataca de nuevo. Serena llega tarde y se encuentra con que es hora de pelear, aunque trata de impedírselo a Lita, pues está muy débil tras haber donado sangre. Las Sailor caen en batalla y cuando todo parece perdido un hombre envuelto en traje blanco, que se hace llamar el Caballero de la Luna, rescata a Sailor Moon. Sailor Jupiter vuelve a ponerse de pie y le da el golpe final al monstruo. Días después Kenji está recuperado y todo vuelve a la normalidad, pero Serena sigue curiosa sobre el Caballero de la Luna, ¿será Darien?
