Reg is trying to finish his puzzle but keeps getting interrupted by the Rubbadubbers' noisy games. When the puzzle gets broken in a game of "soap tug", Tubb pleads with Reg to join them. Instead, Reg wishes to be left alone. At first, Reg loves the quiet. He soon discovers that while being alone is nice, sometimes being with your friends is more fun.
Reg is tired of standing guard for balls that fly out of the bath as the Rubbadubbers are playing an underwater ball game. He can't join in the fun. If he goes in the water his joints will rust. When Reg wishes he could go underwater, he is transported to an underwater kingdom to protect a treasure from a monstrous thief. After encountering the thief, Reg wishes he were back on dry land.
Benjie and Sis have made a model train on the bathroom floor with toilet rolls and shoeboxes. The Rubbadubbers are all playing on it - Tubb is driving, Finbar is making the chuff chuff noise, Terence is stoking, and Winona is sounding the whistle. But Tubb wishes he could do everything. When his wish comes true, Tubb soon discovers he'd rather have his friends all aboard with him for fun.
It's a hot day in the bathroom and the Rubbadubbers are finding different ways to cool down - all except for Sploshy who wants to be freezing, now! Wishing she were somewhere really cold, Sploshy cools off in the Arctic!
The Rubbadubbers are playing Sploshy's Spectacular Splish Splash Splosh Game and Terence can't find anywhere to keep dry. Wishing he were somewhere without any water, Terence is transported to the desert. Queen of the Desert Sploshilla, her camels, Sheikh Tubb, and Sultana Amelia are playing a game. And Terence happily joins in knowing that he won't get wet.
Benjie and Sis leave a book of fairy tales in the bathroom, and the Rubbadubbers read a story about a handsome prince and a ferocious dragon. Unlike his friends, Tubb thinks it would be easy to be a fairytale prince. Yet even though he fights off the bubble-breathing dragon and rescues the princess, there's still work to be done for Tubb the Frog Prince.
Tubb is tired of losing the bathroom football games and wishes he could score all the time. Footballer Tubb soon discovers that having fun is more winning than scoring in the game.
Playing with Benjie and Sis' pretend cake makes Tubb wonder what a real one tastes like. Imagining he is the owner of Mr. Tubb's Cake Shop, Tubb's wish of trying real cake comes true. When his cake entry wins the baking competition, Tubb quickly discovers that too much cake may not be as delicious as he thinks.
Finbar likes getting presents, but doesn't want to give them in return. When he imagines the Rubbadubbers have to give him presents all the time, Finbar discovers that giving a gift is just as great as receiving one.
Reg tries to find a sport he is the best at.
Reg is trying to read his book, but the Rubbadubbers are playing noisily. When Reg asks them to let him read in peace, they want to know what his book is about. Reg wishes he could be in a quiet library where he can read all day long. With his wish granted, Reg soon discovers that reading is no fun when there's no one to tell the amazing things you've read about.
Reg makes a wish and becomes a lighthouse keeper who is in charge of guiding his friends through the rocks and away from the hungry shark.
Tubb just wants to read a postcard from Benjie and Sis's grandmother in peace, but there's nowhere quiet in the bathroom. Wishing there were more rooms to choose from, Tubb finds himself in charge of Tubb's Towers. Having lots more rooms means Tubb has lots more work.
Terence wants to be the first with the news for once, but the other Rubbadubbers keep beating him to it! Messenger Terence discovers that everyone loves good news and no one likes bad news. But Terence eventually finds that you can turn bad news into good news!
Amelia wants to make pictures like her friends, but she can't hold the brush right! When she is told to paint the sky with nothing but triangles, Amelia decides that she'll try something new. Becoming a sky painter, Amelia discovers there are lots of ways to paint a picture!
Finbar keeps losing Tubb's word game because he doesn't know the right name for everything. Becoming the Mighty Word Shark, Finbar suddenly knows what everything is called except for one big green flapping stamping creature that no one has met before. Finbar invents a name for him and discovers that making up your own words is fun!
