Tym razem podrabiany alkohol jest bardzo słabej jakości i zagraża życiu konsumentów. Na komendę już spływają informacje o fali zatruć na mieście po spożyciu tego konkretnego trunku. Policjantom udaje się zatrzymać dwie osoby, zajmujące się tą nielegalną produkcją. Jednym z nich jest profesor chemii, który bardzo poważne podchodzi do jakości produktu i nie przyznaje się do zarzutów otruwania ludzi. Chwilę później na komendzie pojawia się legalny producent alkoholi, który pragnie podziękować za zatrzymanie oszustów, będących nierówną konkurencją dla jego przedsiębiorstwa. Marek ma przeczucie, że cała sprawa ma drugie dno i postanawia znaleźć wszystkie klocki z tej układanki.
