Roy and Liko have a conversation with Ann about what happened at Rakua. Despite their efforts, they were unable to find their missing member, and the Rising Volteccers disbanded. Following that, Ann suggests a battle to cheer them up. Roy and Ann battle, and Roy defeats Ann's Daikenki. Roy then asks Liko to battle him next, and she agrees, though her Masquernya is later defeated. Several students ask Roy if he is part of the Rising Volteccers, which he doesn't deny, leading them to chat with Liko, who declares that she is a member of the Rising Volteccers. At a bus stop, Liko meets with Roy to join him in uncovering the truth about the Explorers.
