After fooling him, Mr. Jinks finds out it was all a fraud and decides to fake his death. After Dixie and Pixie feels upset and sad from making him do those bad things, Mr. Jinks then decides to play the ghost of himself in order to scare the two. But Pixie and Dixie aren't fools, they know that its Mr. Jinks in disguise.
Dixie is so into the comic books that he reads. So later he has a dream that the space hero gave him the powers to get rid of Mr. Jinks. Later he wakes up thanks to Pixie, Pixie then throws out the comic book in order for Dixie not to get into the books anymore.
Mr. Jinks's cousin Jinks Junior comes for a visit. Mr. Jinks teaches him how to chase mice, after learning he assigns him to go after Pixie and Dixie.
