The Straw Hats have arrived at a volcanic island that does not show on the New World Log Pose. Luffy in his enthusiasm votes to go to the island, though most of his crew are reluctant to go. The crew than receives a distress call from someone on the island who is being attacked by a samurai. They then draw sticks on who will go with Luffy and who will stay on the ship, with Zoro, Robin and Usopp coming with Luffy. With the help of Nami's clouds, the scouting group arrive at the main entrance which Zoro cuts down with ease. The group wanders the area seeing the whole place being constantly on fire and wondering what happened here. Their exploration is suddenly cut short when they encounter a Dragon looking hungrily at them.
At Raijin Island, Smoker and Tashigi intercept the distress call that Luffy picked up and order the G-5 Marines to set a course for Punk Hazard
Rufy e la sua ciurma giungono nei pressi di un'isola completamente avvolta dalle fiamme, che non viene nemmeno segnalata dai Log Pose. Qui ricevono una disperata richiesta di aiuto e per questo decidono di sbarcare sull'isola. La comunicazione viene però intercettata dalla nave di Smoker che ordina a Tashigi di fare rotta per Punk Hazard.
La banda empieza su viaje por el Nuevo Mundo soportando las inclemencias del tiempo, que les lleva hasta una extraña isla volcánica rodeada de un mar de fuego. Es entonces cuando reciben una llamada de auxilio desde la isla y Luffy decide ir, llevándose con él a Zoro, Nico Robin y Usopp. Muy lejos de allí, el buque de la Marina perteneciente al G-5 de Smoker, intercepta esa llamada y pone rumbo a Punk Hazard para atrapar a la banda del Sombrero de Paja.
Cuando el grupo de Luffy llega a la isla, descubre un escenario desolado y en llamas, que por algún motivo tiene prohibido el paso por el Gobierno Mundial y la Marina.
