Shiryuu saves Blackbeard and his crew by giving them antidotes to Magellan's poison before taking the opportunity to join with them. The prisoners celebrate their escape, but some, such as Buggy, are upset to learn from a Marine officer calling on a Den Den Mushi that they are on their way to Marine Headquarters, and that the Gates of Justice to Marine Headquarters will not open for pirates. During the conversation, the officer reveals Buggy's past in the Roger Pirates and connections to Shanks, causing the prisoners to rally behind him. While some of the escapees are concerned that Buggy will start a mutiny, Buggy manages to convince the prisoners to go with them to Marine Headquarters in the hopes of defeating Whitebeard and standing on top of the pirate world. Meanwhile, the ship carrying Ace reaches Marine Headquarters.
Shiryu salva Barbanera e la sua ciurma dando loro l'antidoto per il veleno di Magellan e si unisce ad essi. Gli evasi sulla nave festeggiano la loro fuga, ma alcuni rimangono contrariati nell'apprendere che la loro meta è il Quartier Generale della Marina. Gli ex-prigionieri, impressionati dal passato di Bagy sulla nave di Gol D. Roger, vengono convinti dal clown a seguirlo al Quartier Generale nella speranza di sconfiggere Barbabianca e regnare al suo posto. Intanto, la nave che trasporta Ace raggiunge il Quartier Generale della Marina.

Los prisioneros celebran su huida, pero los marinos através de un Den Den Mushi advierten que La puerta de la justicia que va a hacia Marine Ford no se abrirá para piratas. Durante la conversación, el marino revela el pasado de Buggy en los Piratas de Roger y la conexión que tiene con Shanks. Buggy se las arregla para convencer a los prisioneros de ir con ellos a la sede de la Marina, con la esperanza de derrotar a Barbablanca y de convertirse en el rey de los piratas. Mientras tanto, el buque que transporta a Ace llega a Marine Ford.
