Zwar kann Boss seine Freunde Ruffy, Zorro und Sanji aus Käpt’n Largos Netzen befreien, doch dann wird auch er in einem Netz gefangen genommen. The rest of the Straw Hats hear the fighting on the island and decide to head over. Zoro and Sanji attempt to attack Largo, who uses his Net Net Fruit powers to create nets out of materials that he eats and captures the two of them. Largo and Colt threaten to exterminate the town if they do not get the beetle, and Boss comes out to fight them, but is quickly defeated. Boss decides to sacrifice himself to save the village, despite Yoko's objections, but Luffy tears open the net and punches Boss, saying that he wants to fight with him again. Boss sheds his skin and is able to fly long enough to burn Luffy, Zoro and Sanji's nets. The Straw Hats and the villagers prepare to fight the Amigo Pirates.
Le reste des Chapeaux de Paille entendent les combats sur l'île et décident de s'y rendre. Zoro et Sanji tentent d'attaquer Largo, qui utilise ses pouvoirs Net Net Fruit pour créer des filets à partir de matériaux qu'il mange et les capture tous les deux.
Il resto della ciurma si dirige verso il luogo dove si sta svolgendo il combattimento. Zoro e Sanji cercano di colpire Largo che usa i suoi poteri del frutto del diavolo per creare delle reti con le quali intrappola i suoi avversari. Largo e Corto minacciano di radere al suolo il villaggio se non verrà consegnato loro il coleottero. Nonostante le obiezioni di Yoko, Boss esce allo scoperto, deciso a sacrificarsi per salvare il villaggio, e viene velocemente sconfitto e catturato. Interviene allora Rufy che squarcia la rete e colpisce l'insetto dichiarando di volersi di nuovo battere con lui. Dopo aver fatto la muta, Boss riesce a liberare Rufy, Sanji e Zoro dalle reti. Gli abitanti del villaggio e i membri della ciurma si preparano dunque a battersi con i pirati Amigo.
Zoro y Sanji intentan atacar a Largo, que utiliza su Ami-Ami para crear redes a partir de materiales que se come y los captura. Largo y Colt amenazan con exterminar la ciudad si no obtienen el escarabajo, y “Jefe” sale a luchar contra ellos, pero es derrotado rápidamente. “Jefe” decide sacrificarse para salvar al pueblo, pese a las objeciones de Yoko, pero las lágrimas de Luffy abren la red y golpea a “jefe”, diciendo que él quiere pelear con él de nuevo. “Jefe” es capaz de volar el tiempo suficiente para quemar la red en donde están Luffy, Zoro y Sanji. Los Sombrero de Paja y los habitantes se preparan para luchar contra los Piratas de Amigo.
