Naruto carries on the task of classifying the animals in the island. Manda II, created by Kabuto, approaches the island and kills the Giant Squid. Meanwhile on the island, tremors felt from Deidara and Manda II's assaults causes mayhem and with it the revelation of Armadiko's gender much to the dismay of Don, King, Hippo Boss and Chūji. Ōnoki and Akatsuchi chase Deidara, while Kurotsuchi stops Kabuto. Aoba, Motoi and Yamato arrive at the battlefield. Kabuto frees himself from his restraints, kidnaps Yamato and flees, reclaiming Deidara as well. Back at Mountains' Graveyard, Tobi questions Kabuto, saying he didn't bring the Eight and Nine-Tails as agreed. Kabuto explains that he can use Yamato to make Zetsu and the White Zetsu Army stronger. Tobi, tells him to hurry as his left eye craved war — revealing his newly transplanted Rinnegan.
Pendant que Kabuto accompagné de son invocation Deidara et le 3e Tsuchikage accompagné de ses acolytes se font face, Manda recréé par Kabuto attaque la tortue-île que Deidara retourne avec une explosion. Pendant que le Tsuchikage tente d’éloigner Deidara pour pouvoir l’attaquer avec son Jinton sans détruire la tortue, Kabuto descend sur le ventre de la carapace pour chercher Naruto et Killer Bee. Yamato, Aoba et Motoï viennent à sa rencontre, tandis que Kurotsuchi l’attaque avec une technique Yōton et parvient à l’immobiliser dans une sorte de ciment à prise rapide. Alors que Aoba s’apprête à lui soutirer des informations, Kabuto « mue » et s’enfuit sous forme de serpent en avalant Yamato, puis part se cacher dans la narine de Manda qui disparaît ; l’invocation de Deidara est également annulée avant que le Tsuchikage ne puisse lui porter une attaque. Kabuto amène Yamato à Madara en lui affirmant qu’il peut l’utiliser pour rendre les Zetsu plus forts ou lui soutirer des informations sur Naruto et l’alliance ninja.

Kabuto encuentra a la tortuga gigante mediante su invocación de Manda II la cual ataca la isla causando un alboroto, ahora junto a Deidara deciden atrapar a los Jinchūrikis. Ōnoki y compañía se apresuran para detener el ataque, Kurotsuchi puede atrapar a Kabuto, en ese momento Yamato se prepara para interrogar a Kabuto pero este se transforma y escapa devorando a Yamato, Kurotsuchi trata de detenerlo pero Kabuto se esconde dentro de Manda II que luego desaparece. Ya en la guarida de los Akatsuki Kabuto lleva a Yamato frente a Tobi quien esperaba a los Jinchūrikis pero Kabuto alega que Kabuto fortalecerá a los Zetsus blancos para la guerra.
