The Kyles and Vanessa's parents escort her to her first ultrasound. When asked if they wanted to know the baby's sex, Michael is the only one who stands out with a positive answer. Obsessed with knowing whether he's having a grandson or a granddaughter, he tries by all means to have the doctor tell him. He finally assumes it's a boy, and tells Jay and eventually the rest of the family. But in the end the situation reverses as they all confirm with the doctor the real sex of the future Kyle and leave Michael out in the rain. Meanwhile, Franklyn freaks out with the idea of losing Kady to ""Smilin' Willie"" and tries to learn how to be a dance master.

Junior e Vanessa, (junto com os Kyle e os Scott) vão fazer uma ultrasonografia para o bebê. O médico, quando vai dizer o sexo, é proibido pelo casal, que prefere guardar segredo. Michael fica inconformado e vai até o médico, e lhe suborna para que ele lhe conte o sexo. O médico lhe diz que é "exatamente o que ele quer". Michael conta para Jay que é um menino e ela o faz prometer guardar segredo, mas em uma reunião Kyle&Scott, Michael acaba revelando que o sexo do bebê é um menino. Enquanto isso, Franklin fica decepcionado com Kady porque esta, prefere a companhia de Willy Sorridente, um dançarino, do que a dele. Para resolver a situação, ele decide mostrar seus "dons de dança".
