Ben hat Geburtstag, aber keiner aus seiner Familie gratuliert ihm. Sie haben leider ganz einfach sein Geburtsdatum verwechselt. Natürlich ist er stinksauer. Zu allem Überfluss taucht auch noch seine Tochter Janey mit ihrer lesbischen Freundin Katie auf. Er stellt sich allerdings bald die Frage, ob Katie wirklich vom anderen Ufer ist, oder ob sie alles nur spielt...

It's Ben's birthday, and everyone seems to have taken his request for no fuss literally, neglecting to buy him any presents. Janey is home for the weekend with a new friend, but nobody is sure of the nature of their relationship.
