Returning from his visit at the Polar Snake Shrine, Kaiki asks Hitagi to meet him again, ending up in a Mister Donut restaurant. Kaiki claims that it will be easy for him to deceive Nadeko as at her current condition, she can't doubt anyone - she has turned even more childish than she was in her human state, unable to detect any ill will. He reveals his plan to spare Koyomi and the others by lying to her that they died in an accident, thus he needs Hitagi to convince Koyomi to cease all connections with Nadeko. Hitagi, relieved and crying, thanks him for his services. On the following day, Kaiki is approached by Yotsugi who comes with an ultimatum from Gaen urging him to pull off his scheme to deceive Nadeko, claiming that the stake is too high and the entire city may be destroyed should he fail. Despite accepting ¥3,000,000 as compensation from Gaen, Kaiki moves on with his plan and pays another visit to Nadeko, claiming that he has a special wish she can fulfill and he will keep visiting her in a 100 visit cycle. Nadeko cheerfully tells him that she destroyed the cat's cradle yarn and used a white snake instead. Terrified, he determines she is not only an idiot, but also insane. After the meetup, Kaiki tricks Nadeko's parents to have them leave their house and he takes the opportunity to investigate her room, getting startled upon finding out what she kept hidden inside her closet.
北白蛇神社で、千石撫子と対面した貝木。蛇神と化すことで明るい性格になった撫子は貝木に、もうすぐ暦お兄ちゃんを殺すつもりだと無邪気に語りはじめ――。
자신에게 고맙다면서 울먹이는 센죠가하라를 바라보는 카이키는 심경이 복잡했다. 그런데 다음날, 눈앞에 요츠기가 나타나서 손을 떼라는 가엔의 말을 전하는데... 하지만 옛 선배와의 관계 파탄마저 불사하면서 카이키는 일을 계속하기로 결심한다.
贝木在北白蛇神社见到千石抚子。化为蛇神後变得个性开朗的抚子，天真无邪的对贝木说起她很快就要杀死历哥哥的事。
Al regresar de su visita al Santuario de la Serpiente Polar, Kaiki le pide a Hitagi que se reúna con él nuevamente, terminando en un restaurante Mister Donut. Kaiki afirma que será fácil para él engañar a Nadeko ya que en su condición actual, no puede dudar de nadie: se ha vuelto aún más infantil de lo que era en su estado humano, incapaz de detectar ninguna mala voluntad.
De retour du sanctuaire du serpent, Kaiki demande à Hitagi de le revoir, ils finissent au restaurant de Mister Donut. Il affirme qu'il lui sera facile de tromper Nadeko dans son état actuel puisqu'elle ne peut douter de personne, elle est encore plus enfantine que dans son ancien état d'humaine, elle est donc incapable de déceler une mauvaise intention.
Kaiki incontra Nadeshiko Sengoku al Santuario Kita Shirohebi. Nadeshiko, che è diventata una personalità brillante trasformandosi in un dio serpente, dice innocentemente a Kaiki che ha intenzione di uccidere presto Koyomi.
