In her letter to the cat spirit, Tsubasa reveals that just like her, Kako is another apparition sired by her repressed feelings, this time of jealousy and asks her to return both to her heart, as she is finally determined to shoulder all of her negative feelings no matter how it will change herself. As Kako is about to burn Hitagi's apartment, Tsubasa appears to confront it. Despite having no chance to defeat Kako, Tsubasa manages to stall it long enough to Koyomi to appear and defeat it with Heartspan. Before absorbing both the cat and tiger spirit, Tsubasa finally confesses her love for Koyomi, and as expected, he rejects her, assuming that his love for Hitagi is stronger. After her family finally rents another house for them to live, it is revealed that Tsubasa's hair developed white stripes just like a tiger, that she hides by dying them black, and she had at last asked her parents for a room just for herself, as a sign that she finally had become a true member of her own family.

巨大な虎の怪異・「苛虎」の正体をつきとめた翼は、一通の長い手紙をしたためる。それはいわば彼女のもうひとつの人格である怪異・「ブラック羽川」に向けてのものだった。
하네카와는 자기 마음이 또 떼어낸 괴이, 가호를 다시 받아들이기로 결심한다.
그리고 블랙 하네카와한테 가호와 함께 자기 마음에 돌아와달라고 부탁하는데...
하지만 방화에 맛들인 가호는 센죠가하라의 아파트에 불을 지르려고 고집한다.
En su carta al espíritu felino, Tsubasa revela que al igual que ella, Kako es otra aparición engendrada por sus sentimientos reprimidos, esta vez de celos, y le pide que regrese a su corazón, ya que finalmente está decidida a asumir todo lo negativo. Los sentimientos no importan cómo se cambiará ella misma. Cuando Kako está a punto de quemar el apartamento de Hitagi, Tsubasa parece enfrentarlo. A pesar de no tener la oportunidad de derrotar a Kako, Tsubasa logra detenerlo lo suficiente como para que Koyomi aparezca y lo derrote con Heartspan. Antes de absorber el espíritu del gato y del tigre, Tsubasa finalmente confiesa su amor por Koyomi, y como era de esperar, la rechaza, asumiendo que su amor por Hitagi es más fuerte. Después de que su familia finalmente alquila otra casa para que vivan, se revela que el cabello de Tsubasa desarrolló rayas blancas como un tigre, que se esconde muriéndolos de negro, y que al fin le pidió a sus padres una habitación solo para ella, como una señal de que finalmente se había convertido en un verdadero miembro de su propia familia.
翼查出巨大老虎的怪异“苛虎”的真面目後，便写了一封很长的信。这封信即是写给另一个怪异，也就是她的另一个人格“黑羽川”。
Tsubasa écrit une lettre à son autre personnalité : Black Hanekawa. Elle découvre ensuite la véritable identité du "Tigre Tyran".
