In un modo o nell'altro Ra-Male arriva prima che l'esecuzione di Platos sia portata a termine e, aiutata da soldati fedeli al principe, riesce a salvarlo. Intanto anche la balena bianca si sta dirigendo verso Atlantide però, di fronte al continente, trova la figura di Zargon che si staglia minacciosa. Alla fine, Platos sfida suo padre l'Imperatore a confrontarsi con lui ma, nè il ragazzo nè Ra-Male riescono a vincere contro il tiranno. Per quanto gravemente feriti, i due riescono a rifugiarsi nel tempio sotterraneo di Mu ma, sentendo che l'ultima ora si avvicina, partono per lo spazio alla ricerca di un mondo soltanto loro.
One way or another Ra-Male arrives before Platos' execution is completed and, aided by soldiers loyal to the prince, manages to save him.
