Reigen hat einen richtig fetten Auftrag an Land gezogen. Doch neben ihm und Mob sind noch dutzende weitere vermeintliche Geisterexperten zugegen, denn bei Minori Asagiri, der Tochter des reichen und gleichermaßen verzweifelten Firmenchefs Masashi Asagiri, scheint es sich um einen ganz besonderen Härtefall zu handeln …

Reigen and Mob receive a new job. This time, their client is a wealthy man named Asagiri Masashi. He's not just rich, but super rich, so Reigen and Mob head to his mansion only to find other self-proclaimed psychics there as well. One of the psychics there happens to include the president of the Rising Sun Spiritual Union, Jodo Kirin. The job is apparently to exorcise the evil spirit that is apparently possessing his daughter, Minori.

Mob e Reigen ricevono un nuovo incarico: quello di esorcizzare Minori, la figlia di un ricco uomini d'affari che, per salvare la figlia, ha deciso di ingaggiare i migliori psichici del paese. La ragazza è però posseduta da uno spirito malvagio molto potente e il lavoro si rivelerà, fin da subito, molto più duro del previsto.
