Yoichi decides to compete in a hot pot competition to get some vegetables from Nakae Heita, a boy who is a vegetable growing genius. Yoichi tries his best to come up with a solution, but when it comes to vegetables, it seems he will never be able to beat Heita's homemade one.

野菜作りの天才少年・中江兵太の野菜を分けてもらうため、陽一は鍋物で勝負することに。兵太の鍋は、まさに神秘的な素晴らしさ。それに対して工夫をこらす陽一だが、野菜だけは兵太の物に勝てそうになかった。
