Rumors spread that Ajiou is retiring because of harassment from the Ajiou shogun Group, causing unrest within the Ajiou Culinary Society, as they wondered who Ajiou's successor would be. Ajiou has no intention of retiring, but he tells Tarume that he wants Yoichi to be his successor. Shiba Hiroyuki, head of the Japanese cuisine department, overhears this and challenges Yoichi to a challenge.
