Sir Gwaine is a character in the BBC TV series Merlin. He is a Knight of the Round Table and a close friend of Merlin. Gwaine is first introduced in episode 3x04 when he helps Merlin and Arthur in a pub brawl. Gwaine is injured while saving Arthur's life.
