Ikki and Metabee are being trained by Dr. Aki to become top-level, highly skilled fighters for Robattle. The doctor visits a friend of his, Kailey, the famous stunt pilot. Kailey and her Plane-Type Medabot Femjet are practicing their aerodynamic moves when Femjet is unable to pull out of a dive and crashes into the forest. Kailey explains that three months ago at the City Airshow, she made a mistake on her landing and Femjet crashed badly. Ever since that crash, Femjet has been afraid of flying. Ikki suggests that Metabee and Femjet train together so Metabee can learn flying battle techniques while Femjet regains her confidence and aero-form. Kailey flat out rejects Ikki's offer. Feeling slighted, he challenges her to a Robattle. She agrees, and Mr. Referee officially declares the start of the match. Unfortunately, Metabee has only homemade aero-parts to use, and is unable to move. He ultimately defeats himself with his own missiles! Observing how easily Femjet defeats Metabee, the Rub

Como parte de su entrenamiento el Dr. Aki lleva a Ikki a conocer a Kaeley, una piloto de acrobacias y a Femjet, una medabot con la capacidad de volar. Ikki les pide que los entrenen, pero Kaeley se niega porque Femjet no es capaz de volar adecuadamente después de un accidente aéreo. Ikki le crea a Metabee unas meda-partes para poder volar, y reta a Femjet a una robo-batalla, pero Metabee pierde sin que Femjet se moviera porque sus nuevas partes le eran incómodas. Los Rubberobo secuestran a Femjet porque creen que tiene una medalla rara dado que derrotó a Metabee sin moverse.
