The Rubber Robo Gang tries to steal a rare medal from the Medabot Corporation. Inside, the Rubber Robo Gang steals Belzega, a Medabot that has one-hit-beats-him attack. Dr. Aki, realizing that the Rubber Robo Gang wants all the rare medals of the world, appoints the Phantom Renegade to protect them.
カリンちゃんから手紙をもらったイッキは大はしゃぎ！てっきりデートの誘いだと思っていたら、カリンちゃんと一緒に現れたのは、メダロット博士だった。ふたりをメダロット社へ案内してくれるという。
El Dr. Aki lleva a Ikki y Metabee a la Corporación Medabot para ver como se fabrican los medabots. Mientras tanto Seaslug, de la pandilla Rubberobo, que se infiltra en la empresa para buscar medallas raras, conoce a la señorita Caviare de quien se enamora y por quien piensa dejar su vida criminal, pero cuando cree que ella tiene una cita con otra persona decide robar el medabot experimental de la Corporación Medabot, pues cree que tiene una medalla rara.
