Matthew notices that co-star A.J. Cook is expecting a child, which he fears could be his, although she refutes his presumption with the fact that they have never been alone together. When conversing with the recently-hired Paget Brewster about A.J. being pregnant, he takes an unusual approach to take their professional relationship to the next level. Matthew later confronts guest star Jason Alexander over past controversy surrounding his previous work on Seinfeld.
