Axel, an old drunken gold digger, tells mysterious stories to the people of Daisy Town - stories of the old ghost train. Nobody believes the tale except for the young journalist Becky. Even Lotta and Luke don't believe the fairy tale, until one day, Axel disappears and whilst Luke tries to make Lotta believe that ghosts don't exist, she vanishes almost before his own eyes. Becky has one last mystery to unravel...

Même Luke et Lotta ne crois pas à ce conte de fées, jusqu'au jour où Axel disparaît et alors que Luke tente de persuader Lotta que les fantômes n'existent pas, celle-ci disparaît presque devant ses propres yeux. Becky a un dernier mystère à élucider ...
Al saloon di Lotta, Axel, un vecchio minatore ubriacone, racconta per l'ennesima volta la storia di un incidente ad un treno, provocato dal crollo di una diga. Nessuno sembra credere al racconto salvo Becky, una giovane giornalista. Un banchiere passando per il saloon cerca di convincere il vecchio Axel a vendergli il terreno, ma lui resiste cocciutamente. Quando viene convocato in tribunale, dove, se risultasse incapace di intendere e volere, perderebbe il terreno, scompare. Poco dopo spariscono anche Lotta e la tipografa del paese. Recatosi alla miniera Luke scopre che in realtà è tutto un trucco di Axel aiutato dalla tipografa e da Lotta. Luke fa spostare l'udienza alla miniera e, con l'aiuto di una messinscena, smaschera il banchiere davanti al giudice. L'episodio è finito, e senza fantasmi... o no?
