Als Sally sich mit ihrem Ex trifft, verabredet Derek sich aus Rache mit Kendra. Denn Derek vertritt die Theorie, dass Mädels und Jungs nicht nur einfach Freunde sein können. Casey will ihm das Gegenteil beweisen und geht rein platonisch mit Noel aus. Am Ende erweist sich ihre Theorie bei allen Beteiligten als nicht haltbar.

Derek becomes jealous when Sally and her ex-boyfriend Patrick start spending more time together. Derek claims that people of the opposite gender cannot be friends with each other, and Casey sets out to prove him wrong.
