Avant-garde flower arranger Futaba Fusui (Yamaguchi Tomoko) breaks away from her master Futaba Hosui's (Osanai Minako) style and establishes a school mixing dance and flower arranging. However, due to the harassment the school's survival is in jeopardy. During the school's recital, Fusui poisons the invited Hosui. As Furuhata was in attendance, he can't quite figure out how the killer found her victim in the dark auditorium.
前衛華道家・二葉鳳翆（山口智子）は、師匠である二葉鳳水（長内美那子）の華道二葉流から独立し、踊りと生け花をミックスしたフラワーアレンジメントスクールを創設する。しかし鳳翆に愛憎入り混じった感情を抱く鳳水のいやがらせで、スクールは存続が危ぶまれる状況に陥っていた。怒った鳳翆はスクールの発表会を利用し、招待した鳳水を看護師時代に培った技術を活用して病死に見せかけ毒殺する。
