Digging the sand to build a castle, what a nuisance! There has to be a lazier way! And there is- with the help of a dinghy, a dog, her little brother and above all lots of imagination!
Note: When Lucy and Paul are hurrying up finishing their sandcastle, there's a noticable, but subtle skip in their movements; rather than finish moving when avoiding the incoming wave, they almost instantly shift to their new positions.

An einem sonnigen Ferientag am Meer beschließen Paula und Paul an einem Sandburgenbau-Wettbewerb teilzunehmen. Doch dies stellt sich als anstrengender heraus als erwartet, so dass Paula bald einen Plan ausheckt, wie sie sich die Arbeit erleichtern kann. Nach einigen gescheiterten Versuchen wirft eine besonders große Welle ihr Schlauchboot an den Strand. Dieses hatten sie mit Sand gefüllt, um daraus eine Burg zu bauen. Die so entstandene, außergewöhnliche Burg gewinnt den Sonderpreis des Strandburgen-Bauwettbewerbs.
