We hear about his incredible life, 13 years as an illegal immigrant, and his inspiring story that has brought him here to the Olympics. And of course we try some amazing Korean food - this time my favourite Korean pizzas… One of which Akwasi falls in love with
Today we took the Rappers to meet @woogie_park a friend of ours and an extremely successful music producer in Korea! He invited us to his studio where he had prepared some of the best delivery food I've ever seen in my life, we got eating and the more we ate and talked, the more we were inspired! And what happened next was really special... I really wanted to introduce the Rappers to some people in the Korean music industry and give them some unique experiences, but I couldn't have imagined that we'd end up spontaneously recording an actual song!
Today we take the British rappers to a Korean theme park! But something unexpected happened... Today we come out of the hustle and bustle of Seoul and take Buvna somewhere they really wanted to visit when they were in Korea. A Korean Buddhist temple. With Barney recently becoming a dad, and Guvna having had a new baby girl, it was a much needed change of pace in the nature with lots of wisdom from the monk who showed us around the temple. Although we have different faiths, we all went in with an open mind and was able to experience a deep sense of gratitude, peace, and letting go. And then we ended the day with some incredible vegan temple food!
We've taken the British rappers for Louis Vuitton beef, and Prada chicken. So today, we took them for some Chanel pork ribs!

Today we have a bonus video! The British rappers had been asking if they could go to a Korean McDonald's since day 1 so we pulled up to a drive through and tried some of Korea's unique McDonald's menus!
Today we take the British rappers to try some Eel! Eel in Korea is famous for being delicious and healthy, but in the UK, the first thing that comes to mind when we say "eel" is jellied eels... So, we took Guvna B and Barney somewhere where we could show how to properly eat all parts of the eel!
Today we take the British rappers to Seoul's famous shopping district, Myeongdong to explore the amazing night market!
Today is the last episode with the British Rappers. We wanted to come full circle and end on a special Korean BBQ meal but this time with Korea's favourite meat, PORK!

Today we go glamping the Korean way! From pork belly and oyster bbq to breakfast ramyeon, we tried to give Armand and Max the full experience of what camping can be!! Hope you enjoy today's episode and stay tuned for our Jeollanam-do journey!!
Today is the second day of our trip to Jeollanam-do. We take Armand and max to the small but beautiful island of wando. We experience a vast range of experiences from a peaceful Buddhist temple to picking abalones! We finished off with a feast of seafood and abalone dishes, prepared in all the ways you could ever imagine abalone could be cooked!
Today we show Armand and Max how to tour like true Koreans in Mokpo - Non-stop eating! We started the day with a simple brunch at a cafe then headed out to see the amazing view of Mokpo on the longest cable car in Korea. We then walked through a traditional market tasting an array of authentic Korean street food. Then for our main meal, we went for some authentic Tteokgalbi (beef rib patties) and finished off with some delicious hotteok! I'm full just writing all of this again!
As we drove back to Seoul after an amazing few days in Jeollanam-do, we had a little rest at a Korean hyugeso (service station). This service station was on an island of its own and had the biggest array of food you can imagine! Also in this video, Armand and Max experience a bucket list moment when they find out they are sponsored by the drink they fell in love with since day one - Milkis!
Today Armand and Max work at their favourite restaurant, EGGDROP! The boys actually asked to go to EGGDROP throughout the trip but we diverted them every time so that we could surprise them to this experience today! The boys were taught the secrets to making the delicious Korean street toasts. Will they be able to run the kitchen successfully?
Today we take Armand and Max for their final meal in Korea! We wanted to take them for Chimek since the first time they were in Korea but we were only able to do that now!
A few months ago we met the Thai British F1 driver Alex Albon at an event and invited him to go out and try some Korean food. Alex is one of only 20 Formula One drivers in the world, and is ranked amongst the very best drivers on the grid. He's driven for Toro Rosso, Red Bull and most recently for Williams. During the mid-season break he took time out of his busy schedule to meet us at one of my favourite London BBQ spots for some food and a chat.
Today we finally take our Italian chef friend, Mr. Z for Korean food and drinks! Some of you may know Mr. Z from our Jolly series where he showed us the BEST foods around Italy. Mr. Z has cooked for many big names like Beyonce, Kanye West, Drake, Anne Hathaway, Queen Elizabeth II, and now King Charles! This was a long overdue meal, but we actually had been saving it to bring some exciting news...
Today we go to the restaurant that has just won "Best Korean BBQ" 1st place for the second year running, to taste the best of the best of Korean Hanwoo BBQ. Hanwoo has been called "the forbidden beef", because it is impossible to get anywhere outside of Korea. Arguably the highest quality Beef in the world, we flew our friend Mr Z, an Italian Chef, all the way to Korea to try it. This is the first episode of a 6 past series - searching out the very best food Korea has to offer.
Kimbap is a classic, Korean snack sold on almost every street corner. It's cheap delicious and was my daily go-to in university in Korea. Today, we're gonna taste a local favourite and then compare it, to the most expensive Michelin Star Kimbap in the world!
In high school I played a bunch of games with my Korean mates that most British people would have never heard of. So today we are going to teach them to some British High schoolers. We split them into two teams and the winners get a bunch of Korean snacks! Plus! We have a bonus round, where one boy will take home, a brand new iPhone 15!
After trying some of the fanciest, most expensive food in Korea, we took Mr. Z to try some of the best, most authentic street market food Korea has to offer. $5 hand cut noodles prepared down a local alley by a Korean Grandma.
Today we take Italian chef, Mr. Z to Jeju Island to experience the BEST Pork BBQ. As this is a "Chef's food tour", we couldn't not have some Jeju Black pork!
Today we take Mr. Z on a culinary adventure with a genuine farm-to-table Korean meal. Or shall I say history-to-table?! Ojina has one of the most extensive collection of Korean food ingredients and sauces in the world and it was such a blessing to get a tour around the farm and try the food ourselves. This was a first even for me: trying a 130 year old soy sauce, 10 year old kimchi, on top of a full 16 course Korean meal! Hope you guys enjoy the video!
Today we try all the delivery chicken available and decide which chicken is the best Korean chicken! We started out by thinking we'd try about 5 franchise chicken places but ended up trying 10+ chickens in the end. Which one was our favourite? I guess you'll have to watch the video to find out!
Today we had one of the most surreal experiences in our lives. We were invited back to the Buckingham Palace to dine with the King, and the royal family, the Korean President, Black Pink, president of Samsung, president of LG, and a lot of VIPS from the UK and Korea. It was such an honour to take part in this wonderful friendship between the two countries we love. We genuinely couldn't have done any of this without you guys' support, so thank you all!
Today we get Wolverhampton Wanderers FC to try Korean Bunsik for the first time! It was really cool to see how Hwang Heechan shared the same passion with us: sharing Korean food with friends and colleagues around us and giving them a memorable experience! We tried the classics from tteokbokki, fishcake soup, and kimmari! The way we dip the kimmari in the tteokbokki sauce--makes me want to go back for more! Hope you guys enjoy today's episode :)
Today we feed the Wolves the best Korean beef barbecue we could find in London! From the best cuts of beef to sweet-and-salty galbi, and the cold noodles afterwards, we tried to give the Wolves a full experience of Korean barbecue. What was their favourite? Watch till the end to find out!
When we started YouTube, being able to make videos and introduce Korea to our friends as a job sounded like a dream! But thanks to all of you here we are, 10 years later. More people all over the world have come to know and love Korean culture than ever before, and we're so thankful to get to play a very small part in that! Thank you guys so much for all the love and support!! Here's to another 10 years!!
We gave Korean Fire Noodles to British Firefighters!! Huge thanks to the London Fire Brigade for welcoming us in, giving us time and being up for trying anything!
Today we introduce Korean pork belly to the London Fire Brigade. After smashing the fire noodle challenge last week, we thought it'd be nice to give them something heartwarming to make up for all the pain(?) we put them through. Hope you guys enjoy today's episode as well! Huge thanks to the London Fire Brigade for welcoming us in, giving us time and being up for trying anything!
We're back!! With a very special video today as the LA Dodgers and SD Padres came to Korea to open the season for the first time ever! We had a chance to meet some of the players and show them some of our favourite iconic Korean Ballpark foods and snacks, in a Baseball Stadium here in Seoul! We've missed you all! We hope you enjoy the video, and stay for tuned next week when we'll be starting a very exciting new series
All Korean men do Military Service, and over the years I've visited friends at their army bases, heard horror stories about how difficult boot camp is, and wondered what it would really be like. The British High Schoolers have now graduated, and are the exact age that most Korean men go to boot camp. For the past few months we've been in contact with the Korean Navy, planning our most ambitious series yet. We're taking the boys back to Korea, and this time they're going to the Korean Navy Boot Camp. We've been given permission to film the entire experience under one condition: we don't get any special treatment, everything is authentic
Before we drop the guys in the deep end at Navy Boot Camp, we've arranged for them to have the best first day in Korea ever. Not only are they staying the night in their own private pool villa, but one of Korea's most famous Pork BBQ Chefs has agreed to fly from Jeju island to feed them the highest quality Jeju Black Pork in the world! And then unbeknownst to the boys, we've booked out an entire waterpark and spa just for them...
I still remember meeting up with my Korean friends before they went to the military, spending time with them for the last time, and just asking them how they feel. Never did I imagine that I'd be on the other side being asked that question-with British Uni students as well! Today, we ask for some help from the experts, ex-UDT Agent H and Jjangjae to prepare ourselves physically and mentally, and Kiu, the trendiest hairdresser in Korea, to get our haircuts to fit military standards. Are we ready for what's to come..? Only one way to find out..!!

The British High Schoolers have now graduated, and are the exact age that most Korean men go to boot camp. We're taking the boys back to Korea, and this time they're going to the Korean Navy Boot Camp. We've been given permission to film the entire experience under one condition: we don't get any special treatment, everything is authentic. Little did we know this would be one of the hardest things we've ever done.
If you guys watched our first episode at the military base, we probably caught you by surprise with Headteacher Dave's special appearance. We have been planning this surprise for a very long time and we're glad we can finally share this side of the story. We had to fly Dave out on a separate flight, get him a seperate accomodation, bring him down to Jinhae on a train, and hide him in the base before the boys arrived. This all felt like a secret mission, which nearly came so close to being busted right before the reveal. Today we have prepared an extra episode to share the back story of how Dave came to join the boys in the boot camp. But before we get into any of that, we can't not feed Dave his first meal back in Seoul..!! We've managed to finally get a reservation at Imok, one of the hardest places to book in Seoul right now.
Today we start the day at 5am. After the morning workout, the boys are thrown straight into the deep-end, to do "basic training", which, to us seemed more than "basic". Several of the boys described the day as the "hardest day of their lives" and they each had different reasons for it. How did the boys cope with the physical, psychological challenge? Are they ready for what's to come next?
Today we enter "REAL" (/simulated) combat situation and have to apply everything we learnt earlier in training, to get to the target area. From crawling with their guns in front to back crawls and signing other soldiers, the boys have gone a long way from not even being able to march properly to passing the finish line in combat training. The boys build stronger friendship not just amongst themselves but with fellow Korean soldiers around them.
The day has come. The British Uni boys are about to receive CBR (Chemical, Biological, Radioactive) training, which made all of us realise how horrible and terrifying a war can be. Having to put on a gas mask, taking the filter off in the gas chamber, holding it in as long as you can, and then putting the gas filter back on- this whole process was a true test of togetherness and perseverance.
Today we take the British Uni boys to PX, aka military convenience store. From combinations of different noodles to special chicken, dumplings, and pizza unique to these military bases, the Korean soldiers do know what they're doing when it comes to food combinations.
Today we take the boys to try out for ROK Navy Seal. Will any of the us be qualified to be a special forces agent in the ROK Navy? Because we kinda new the answer to that already, (ahem) we switched things up a bit by adding a new score system on our own. After the test, we challenge the special forces agents to a football match. British uni students vs. Korean special forces agents! Who do you think won? (ahem)
Today we take the boys on the biggest aircraft carrier in Korea, ROKS Marado. We were told it's a very rare opportunity to be able to film on the ship, let alone eat their delicious cafeteria meal! Starting from LA Galbi, Korean army stew, japchae, to hallabong for dessert, it was a genuine feast! Huge thanks to everyone on ROKS Marado for having us! It was a very special experience for all of us.
Today we get the British students to try Korean Navy Rations. Korean Navy rations consisted of fried rice, meatballs, kimchi, and "pound cakes". Which one was their favourite? Watch the video to find out! On this Saturday we have a bonus episode coming up, where we get the Korean Navy officers/soldiers on Marado to try UK rations. So stay tuned!
In our last video we had the Korean navy officer introduce Korean navy rations to British Uni boys. And today we introduce British rations to Korean navy officers! It was an amazing cultural exchange and very interesting to see what Korean officers thought of the variety of courses in British army rations! What was their favourite part of the meal? Watch till the end to find out!:)
Today we prepared a little surprise for the boys. We told the boys we were gonna do an interview and what was waiting for them instead was a video call with their loved ones! How did they tell their stories about the training to their families? Prepare some tissues before finding out! Hope you enjoy today’s video as well. Next week, we head back to Seoul and the fun continues, so make sure you stay tuned!
Straight from the military, we take the boys through a rather extreme change of environment: KPOP Headquarters. We meet with Korean soldiers’ favourite girl group, fromis_9 to learn their dance (and see if any of us can join their group to form fromis_10)! Watch the video to find out who was the best and worst! We then take the boys for a relaxing evening at a Korean cinema, trying all types of Korean cinema snacks and watching a film on ScreenX (https://bit.ly/ScreenX_Eng)! Hope you enjoy today’s episode as well!
Today we take the boys on a road trip to Gangwon State! There are so many beautiful regions in Korea and it’d be a shame not to make the most of the time we have with the boys in Korea! So we thought we’d introduce them to a part of a Korean uni culture called “MT” and show them around beautiful cities in Gangwon State while we’re at it! First stop: good food/ chicken barbecue!!
Today the boys experience the first ever Korean MT at a “pension”, aka vacation house. We first stop by Hongcheon to have a look around the market and get some meat for the barbecue. And yes of course we get distracted by all the other local delicacies along the market street! After getting everything we need (and more) to survive in the mountains for one night, we head straight to the pension. Nothing fancy, but we did book out the entire place just for us! Who was the best at Korean drinking games? Did Armand and Max remember anything from their Korea Uni experience? Watch the video to find out!
With MT coming to an end, we had a few more surprises for the boys. We found a bungee jumping site near our accommodation, and thought it’d be a shame if we didn’t give it a try! We then headed to a legit Korean meal, where we had a table full of dishes and only cost us 7 pounds per head! Hope you guys join in on this last bit of MT through this video!
As the final meal before we head back to the UK, we took the boys to one of our favourite Beef BBQ restaurants in Korea. This restaurant’s known to be awarded “the best barbecue restaurant in Korea” two years in a row, and it was extremely difficult to get a reservation to fit everyone in. We finally managed to get a table for us few hours before the flight back to England! We tried all the different cuts the chef recommended including the ribeye, sirloin, and marinated galbi. Over this special meal we share our thoughts on the trip and our favourite moments. Let us know what your favorite moment was in the comments! Hope you enjoyed this series:)
