Hakuhei Sabi challenges Shichika to a duel for possession of the Hari Sword and the rest of Shikizaki Kiki's Blades. Meanwhile, the Maniwa Ninja's Insect Squad attempt to kidnap Nanami and use her as a hostage against her brother. However, the Insect Squad soon discover that although Shichika is the head of the No Sword School, Nanami is far superior to her brother in combat and it doesn't take her long to kill all three of the Ninja sent after her.
Togame et Shichika se trouvent dans le petit village de Suô en attendant des informations sur leur prochaine cible Sabi Hakuhei. Contre toute attente, ce dernier les défie par l'intermédiaire de l'espion qui était supposé le surveiller.

Hakuhei Sabi desafía a Shichika a un duelo por la posesión de la Espada Hari y el resto de las Espadas de Shikizaki Kiki. Mientras tanto, el Escuadrón de Insectos de los Nini de Maniwa intenta secuestrar a Nanami y usarla como rehén contra su hermano. Sin embargo, el Escuadrón de Insectos pronto descubre que, aunque Shichika es la directora de la Escuela Sin Espada, Nanami es muy superior a su hermano en combate y no le toma mucho tiempo matar a los tres Ninja enviados tras ella.
