I move around some heavy things, then Jenna and I make a few jokes. I try to film her singing to her dogs, and Marble doesn't approve. We talk about Selena Gomez wayy too much and then I explain what exactly I do as a board operator at 97.1 AMP Radio. How do I radio?
I like to walk around and say "hey" in a really creepy/batman ish voice because it is really fucking funny. So creepy and unnecessary. Talking to Kermit never gets old. Never. And I have been making a clicky noise with my mouth since I was a kid. I would hang out with my buddies Scott and Tyler and we would all sit around and act out funny shit but with the clicks it became so much funnier. So that's where that came from. The Sing Off is a bad ass show.
You know when you meet someone, and you like their face? You can't stop thinking about that damn sexy face hours after you met them..And then you go to think of their name and you're like "fuck Julien, why did you look so deep into her face? Now you don't know her name...or anything about her besides her sexy face piece". Yeah, well if you don't go away..But if you know what I'm talking about, then I'd like to say to you that the struggle is REAL. Remembering names, no matter how much effort you put into it, is simply a difficult task. But no longer. Follow these tips and you'll win the heart of any man woman or child (maybe not child, that could be seen as inappropriate by it's mom...haha, it..) you ever encounter..

I channeled my inner PVP to make this happen. Hope you like it.
So I was pulling low reps with the idea of trying to PR at 500 in mind this whole workout. I know this technically is probably a no lift in competition terms for powerlifting, because I barely held it at the top. Also I don't really care all that much because my focus is on olympic weightlifting right now. But I locked out and finished the pull to the point where I can say I fully pulled that weight. I am next gonna aim for 550 by Fall or so, but as my squat flexibility and strength improves, I will also get better with my deadlift pull.

I got to sit down with the UFC Bantamweight who made headlines with his awesome flying knee in his UFC debut.
Not the most insane prank ever, but it kept me busy at the hotel..Also, there was a really creepy dude that like followed us to the elevator yesterday so she definitely thought he delivered those sheets to her.
I went out to Whittier, CA with my sights set on the first competitive olympic lifting environment of my life. I have trained 6 months alone at a gym with bumper plates in Santa Monica, and I was really happy with how I did. I set a PR (personal record) on clean and jerk with 121kg (or 263 'merica pounds). Having Jenna there was an amazing experience, being so supported and all. Hope you enjoy this. And yes, I will be doing this again.
Mr. Marbles is kind of like a gold fish in that he forgets things very quickly. Like who I am. So I sometimes mess with him.. I know its not nice but I really love him so much and his personality is admirable because whatever emotion he has, he has it so hard. He doesn't fuck around. Also included in this vlog is Greg (or slops mcgee) humping a plant at Ryan's house when we were hanging out there recently. Not much more explanation I can give. This was my first time back on the platform after my competition two weeks ago and I wanted to document some progress with my mobility and speed on cleans specifically. I shot this on my gopro, and I wanted to share.
I recently took a much needed trip to Jenna's Ratchet Salon and I didn't want to leave you out of my experience. Overall, I would say the customer service, and styling skills of the hair stylist was pretty top notch, even though I didn't have a shred of input..Who am I kidding, I asked for that shit. Hope you enjoyed this..I know my locks did. Also, huge thanks to Jenna for doing this. I love her.

Took a life changing trip to the airport yesterday getting my first dog. This is a vlog of life with my new companion. Oh yeah, and I cried like a little sap.

I work in radio doing production, and this is a look at what some of my duties are. You can't really see too much going on, but I'm inputting commercials and editing them to properly fit on air for our station. I thought this hyperlapse app would be a cool and quick way to show you some of what I do at work.
I guess there is such thing as loving too hard..No dogs were loved too hard or harmed during the filming of this.
If she can post me laughing, I can do it to her too..huehuehu..to be fair, this was a funny fucking vine..we have like "Vine Time" every few weeks where we turn on vine and just lose ourselves until we get tired of it..this happened during "vine time"

Shot on my gopro.. This is a workout I created to focus on consistency in my pulls for clean and jerks. When I add the volume of this workout, I'm forced to keep my technique steady for each section of the complex, and with the light weights I can do that. I think this recipe can vary depending on the type of protein powder and nut butter you use, but if you mess around with the recipe, it should be easy to find the right balance for the bars holding together. The first batch I made (not in this video) held together much better, but it was because I used all one type of nut butter. Hope you guys enjoyed this random cooking vlog.. Fin.

So the search is finally over, and we have officially begun moving our asses outta this place. We had a pretty epic trip out to the desert and minus Ryan and Greg we pretty much got to see everyone we love who lives there.. We had a blast and Jenna had an incredible appearance at the Palms. For this vlog we went to our new gym together which we both thoroughly enjoyed...which I am elated about.. She and I found the perfect balance of fun, and work in the gym today and I created a program for her that she said was great. Hey guys, so we were just randomly up on the target parking structure shooting some night footage, timelapses etc. for the vlog and as we were literally walking back to the car Jason pointed out this ufo that wasn't anything but a suspicious orange looking light moving fast..I was able to begin recording right then and there, and as you can see in the video, it turns into something that releases some sort of giant blue light in a circular haze.. It was easily the craziest thing I've witnessed. I rushed home to upload this..comment below what you think or have heard it might be..skip to 1:19 to see to when the UFO releases a giant light.

I shot all of this from the San Fernando Valley on July 22-23rd 2016 during the Sand Fire in Santa Clarita.. Most of the sky today (the 23rd) is covered with dark smoke clouds with literal ash falling from the sky, some of which you can see falling in the video. The fire is currently 10% contained with a long way to go it seems. Hopefully all of you guys are staying safe.

I got a little creative/weird/unconventional with this one..to be honest, I sat down and edited today's footage into an intro similar to a lot of my other ones. then I watched it once and just hated how cookie cutter it was. I really want to always bend the rules of what a vlog can be on this platform, and today I nearly nixed the entire video because I was feeling so afraid of being unoriginal, but then just from messing around with it to the point of making many (what I'd normally consider) reckless decisions, I found something a little enticing. hey guys, i wish there was more audio in the clips i shot for this video because i explained a bit more of how i prepped all this..but i basically ordered plain vegan wings from H.O.P.E. in studio city, dressed them up in 4 different sauces: franks extra hot, jamaican jerk sauce, spicy asian chili sauce and gringo bandito super hot sauce.. then i baked them for around 15 minutes to just get the flavor cooked into the wings and back to serving temperature...pretty simple, even though i didn't create the wings by hand.. again..my apologies for the short vlog due to the technical difficulties..In addition to my awesome microphone's performance, this was my first project using premier pro (i've decided i want to teach myself PP), so the video quality i'm aware is not really up to my standard..bear with me y'all.. love all of you
