The Elliot family move into the home that movie star Jennifer Farrell lived in. Only Jennifer Farrell is still in the home, only she is a ghost, and is only seen by the teenage son Joey Elliot. Tonight, she works on trying to get him to like it in Los Angeles instead of spending all his time pining for New York and the girl he left behind. John P. Navin Jr. is the rather presumptuous moniker for the kid who plays Joey.
