The ghost (Ann Jillian) of a deceased actress causes mayhem for the new tenants of her home, a teen-ager (John P. Navin Jr.) and his familly. The movie star, one Jenniter Farrell, is now dead, but, according to the monologues of the tour bus drivers who go by six times a day, she must have been something akin to Marilyn Monroe. Jillian plays Farrell's ghost that now haunts the house. The trick is that only the teen-age son, Joey, can see her. Joey is bothered by those things that bother 14-year-olds, friends and girls and acceptance and growing up, and Farrell sets about trying to help him throwgh those years.
