He calls on Pierce & Co. to help him transform a bare alcove into a warm and attractive breakfast nook that will be a comfortable gathering place for his loved ones. The design team works closely with Danny to create a colorful ensemble of furnishings, fabrics and wall art that perfectly captures the homey feeling he was hoping to achieve. Plus, a mom and her teenage son have just remodeled their home and the design team is asked to come up with a plan for turning a large, empty family room into the focal point of the home. The homeowner has a large painting that she wants to hang in the room, and using the colors in that painting as a guide, Jonathan and Brad create a color scheme for the room's furniture, paint and accessories.

The challenge facing the team is to come up with a design plan that updates and upgrades the look of the three areas, but which also pulls them together so they complement each other in style and functionality, giving them one cohesive look
Jim and Linda Deal have never been satisfied with the traditional style and layout of their home's adjoining kitchen and living areas, and they're ready for a major change. The areas don't flow together well, and Jim and Linda also want the rooms to have a much more contemporary look and feel. Jonathan and the team propose a radical solution in the kitchen that involves removing and replacing existing cabinets, countertops, sinks and ovens and spinning the room into a whole new configuration.
