Taro has lost the trial and his Grandma has put “Sakuraya” up for sale. Taro’s determined to at least keep his new family together and makes plans to earn the money to pay for both a restaurant and a new home. So he’s shocked when his Grandma suddenly announces she’s moving away. But as the years pass and Taro works hard and moves on with his life, will he forget what it was about “Sakuraya” that made it so special for all of them.
「さくらや」が売却されることになり、太郎(オダギリジョー)と礼子(尾野真千子)、春馬(大山蓮斗)はアパートに引っ越すことに。だが、明子(八千草薫)は老人ホームに入居すると言いだす。太郎は明子に一緒に暮らそうと説得するが、明子の意志は固く揺るがなかった。そして4年後、太郎は念願だった自分の店をオープンする。
