Gou's death has left a hole in the remaining members, but Taro and the others take it as a sign they need to grow up and move on with their lives. But while Taro struggles over what to do about his own life, he receives another blow, this time from his Grandma. But his sadness from that will help stiffen his resolve over what to do about both "Sakuraya" and Reiko.
明子（八千草薫）と話していた太郎（オダギリ ジョー）は、明子が自分の名前を忘れてしまっている事に驚き、落ち込む。太郎は勢いで礼子（尾野真千子）にプロポーズするが、何かあったことを悟られ、明子について相談することに。帰宅した太郎は明子に誘われ酒を飲みながら、店についての話し合いを始める。
