Taro and his friend Saegusa decide to do some research into the problems of the world and what they can do about them. They soon realize however little they can do for those realities. Especially when they have enough trouble facing their own realities. When their friend Gou offers some unwanted advice to them, he ends up paying a price for it at Taro's hand, leading Taro to soon regret it. Meanwhile, Reiko comes down ill while at work and Taro steps in to take care of Haruma in the meantime.
太郎（オダギリジョー）は三枝（勝地涼）らと共に、真剣なのかふざけているのか分からない世界情勢の話をしながら、読書に熱中する。翌日、礼子（尾野真千子）が仕事中に過労で倒れてしまう。連絡を受けた太郎は見舞いに訪れ、病院に泊まる事になった礼子から息子・春馬（大山蓮斗）の面倒を見るように頼まれる。
