Cantonese Opera singer Ms LEE-fung found her passion in Cantonese opera after she and her family went to Hong Kong during the 1950’s. She started learning Cantonese opera from a renowned Cantonese opera stars Mr. CHAN Fei-nung. At the age of 8, she began performing onstage. Though her performing journey was by no means all smooth sailing; she seized every performing opportunity to learn. When she was young, she aspired to be an “actress in a leading role”. But now she is upholding an open attitude, no matter it is an “actress in a leading role” or “supporting actress”, she is willing to perform. 在時代巨輪的牽引下，李鳳被捲入粵劇的漩渦裡，8歲初登台板，至今投身梨園近半世紀，幾十年來她奮力掙扎，力爭上游，盼望他日踏上「正印花旦」之位。唯事與願違，李鳳的戲行生涯絕非平坦，歷盡起跌。
李鳳一生經歷大時代的轉折，看透人生，笑對起跌。李鳳出生於廣州的門第世家，不愁衣食，但50年代，為逃避一連串的社會運動，南下香港。8歲時已初登台板的李鳳，師承自陳寶珠父親-陳非儂；60年代初，參與林家聲的粵語電影，被喻為馮寶寶第二，但童星發展未能令她一炮而紅。70，80年代，粵劇行業式微，李鳳轉拍電視劇，之後更抽身學做時裝設計；臨近回歸，時勢易轉，香港粵劇界經歷「小陽春」，李鳳將做時裝設計賺到的錢自資成立劇團，擔正做正印花旦；半生遊走戲行，至此理應躊躇滿志，李鳳卻毅然淡出經營幾年的劇團，放下身段，重回二幫角色……
