We Don't Deserve Daredevil, we never did. Daredevil is the best superhero adaptation ever, and one of the best television shows ever. Daredevil is surely the best thing to come out of the MCU. I will miss Matt Murdock, Karen Page, and Foggy Nelson. I will miss Charlie Cox, Vincent D'Onofrio, and all the other extraordinary cast members. Is the title of the film, Shazam, or Shazam! Either way this is the HiTop Films review of Shazam. Should I call Shazam, Shazam? Or should I call Billy Batson, Captain Marvel? Who would’ve guessed that David F. Sandberg would be the one to completely set the DC Universe Films on track. Shazam is the Perfect DC Movie. It’s everything I hoped it would be and more. Does liking Shazam make me a DCEU fanboy now? Probably.
The Guardians of The Galaxy are a group of very flawed individuals in the Marvelous MCU. Nothing sums up their beautiful flaws better than the Farewell Yondu moment, a rather Marvelous Scene. I guess you could say that HiTop Films has a flawed relationship with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so instead HiTop Films is discussing this One Marvelous Scene. I relate to Rocket Raccoon in a lot of ways, hopefully you goons feel the same. Hopefully we all can relate to the flaws of Yondu and The Guardians. Because without flaws, there is no Marvel.

Titans Season 1 broke my heart. I thought it would be fun, and hold you guys over until Raimi Part 3, if I took at the first episode of Titans Season 2. Robin, Raven Starfire, Beast Boy and (too many) other characters have made their return. The first HiTop Films Teen Titans video was a mystery (The Mystery of DC’s Titans), the second was a Tragedy (The Tragedy of DC’s Titans) and now this final(?) Naw, I just love Jon Favreau’s Iron Man and want to talk about why it’s The Insane Origin, hence the title Jon Favreau’s Iron Man - The Insane Origin. This is probably my best video, video essay, passionate rant, since the Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man videos. The title ain’t clickbait, Iron Man is insane, it’s insanely good, and the making of the film is insane. May be a hot take, but Robert Downey Jr. gives his best Tony Stark performance here. I may not love where the MCU is now, but I sure do love Iron Man. Remember without Jon Favreau and this film, there would be no MCU. Marvel Studios' Iron Man 2 - The Broken Sequel is the sequel to the first HiTop Films Iron Man video, Jon Favreau’s Iron Man - The Insane Origin. Another MCU Video Essay, and sadly, a negative MCU video essay. Has anyone done an Iron Man 2 video essay before? Because Iron Man 2 is fascinating, the behind the scenes is somewhat more interesting than what we got in the film and far more interesting than a lot of Marvel Cinematic Universe films. This is probably my best video, video essay, passionate rant, since the Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man videos, I said that last time, and I’ll say it again. Robert Downey Jr. and Jon Favreau got screwed and it sucks. It’s what makes Iron Man 2 so very broken. There’s a great Iron Man 2 and I hope this video shows that. Before Red Hood, Before Robin, there was Jason. We’re making a Jason Todd Fan Series. An Independent Feature, broken up into 3 parts, 3 Chapters. A character study of a broken, but good-hearted, young man whose parental figures and circumstances led him to respond to the twisted world of Gotham with the only thing he was ever taught, violence and aggression. A tragedy. Hopefully, an honest one, about abuse, neglect, and a deep longing for love. We have decided to fund Jason ONE CHAPTER AT A TIME. That way we are not biting off more than we can chew, and we can focus on making the best, self-contained origin we can. We want to show you the kind of Jason story we wish to tell. If Chapter 1 is well received, if you feel your support went to something special, then we would love to continue telling his story. The Script for Chapter 1 is 60 pages which will roughly translate to about an hour. We are asking for your help in making that hour the most honest, stylized, and vulnerable tale it

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm is one of my favorite movies of all time. The greatest thing they add to the legend, the greatest statement they make about Bruce Wayne is that Batman is a response to heartbreak, Batman is the broken heart of a little boy who once loved, who once believed Andrea Beaumont could give him a new vow. A sad tragedy that I find so very human and relatable.
