The Power

Als Hercules die schöne Sirene aus den Händen von Räubern befreit, bittet diese ihn, sich auch ihres Freundes Deon anzunehmen. Hercules kommt fast zu spät, denn die Räuber sind gerade dabei, Deon umzubringen. Als dieser sie anfleht, ihn am Leben zu lassen, gehorchen sie erstaunlicherweise. Hercules ist klar, dass Deon über göttliche Gaben verfügt.

Deon was surprised to discover he had a magical gift: He could make others do whatever he wanted. First he made attacking bandits drop their weapons and depart. Then he made Salmoneus dance like a chicken. His mother, Aphrodite, who had spent one blissful night with his father, Jacobus, had given the power to Deon. Deon preferred his uncle Karis to his father and had a hard time believing Karis was the secret leader of the bandits. Finally Hercules and Jacobus convinced Deon of the truth. Karis was killed, and father and son were reconciled.

Déon, un jeune fermier, découvre par hasard qu'il a le pouvoir de faire faire aux autres tout ce qu'il désire. Lorsqu'un membre de sa famille tente de s'approprier son pouvoir divin à des fins maléfiques, Hercules intervient pour aider Déon à utiliser son don à bon escient.

Deon, figlio del pescatore Giacobbe, ha il potere di indurre le persone ad agire secondo la sua volontà, potere che ha ereditato dalla madre, la dea Venere, amata per una notte da Giacobbe vent’anni prima. Deon se sorprendió al descubrir que tenía un don mágico: podía hacer que los demás hicieran lo que él quisiera. Primero hizo que los bandidos atacantes soltaran sus armas y se marcharan. Luego hizo que Salmoneus bailara como una gallina. Su madre, Afrodita, que había pasado una noche feliz con su padre, Jacobo, le había dado el poder a Deon. Deon prefería a su tío Karis antes que a su padre y le costaba creer que Karis fuera el líder secreto de los bandidos. Finalmente, Hércules y Jacobus convencieron a Deon de la verdad. Karis fue asesinado y padre e hijo se reconciliaron.
