Makoto ist schockiert, als ihr Vater ihr plötzlich erzählt, dass sie ein neues Familienmitglied bekommen werden. Es ist ein Junge von einem anderen Schrein, der im selben Alter wie Makoto ist. Auch in der Schule wird über ihn gesprochen. Im Schrein schläft Gintarou, als er einen Jungen in einer Schuluniform ihn beobachten sieht.
Makoto is left in shock after her father suddenly tells her that they will be welcoming a new family member. And it turns out to be a boy from another shrine who's the same age. At school, she hears talk about a new transfer student. At the shrine, Gintaro is napping when he notices a boy in a high school uniform looking at him.
Makoto è sconvolta dall'improvvisa notizia dell'arrivo di un nuovo membro della famiglia. Si tratta di un ragazzo proveniente da un altro santuario. Anche a scuola sente parlare di un nuovo studente. Al santuario Gintaro sta schiacciando un sonnellino quando nota la presenza di un ragazzo che lo sta guardando.
