The story revolves around the events of Kogarashi Fuyuzora, a boy with powerful spiritual powers who, after having lived a terrible childhood due to the countless spirits who regularly took possession of his body, decides to become a "particular" type of exorcist, using of one's fists as an instrument of purification. Unfortunately, Kogarashi is constantly penniless and looking for a cheap place to live, until one day he comes across the spooky Yuragi inn, where apparently the rent is low as this place would be haunted by the ghost of a person who died there years ago
