In this first edition of Gaming Mysteries, I take a look at the unreleased Legend of Zelda 64 Beta. Its a game that intrigued me for years, and I do long to play it. But for now, I discuss it. This is the first in a new series of these videos, so I do hope you enjoy them.
In this follow up to my Zelda 64 Beta segment, I look at Ura Zelda. Ura Zelda was an unreleased add on for the Ocarina of Time that held various interesting features, I talk about some of those in this segment.
In today's edition of Gaming Mysteries, I present you with the various beta's of Halo. At first Halo was an rts, and even a third person shooter, and it of course ended up being heavily altered from its final product. Check it all out in this segment.
Kirby Adventure was supposed to be a new Kirby game for the Gamecube in the style of Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards. It was announced in 2005, and even had an initial trailer, however not a lot of information was ever released regarding the game, and eventually Nintendo apparently stopped working on it all together. Check it all out in this edition of Gaming Mysteries.
Well, in honor of the remakes of Pokemon Gold, and Silver, I'm doing some Pokemon themed Gaming Mysteries, and we're starting it off not with a bang, but with a dying fuse, a dying fuse called Meowth's Party. The game looks..., interesting, I guess, but was it a game? Even I couldn't find that out, but check it all out in this segment.
Today in Gaming Mysteries, rather than look at a beta game, or some unreleased game. I'm looking at one of the most popular game glitches of all time, its called Missingno and its in the Pokemon Gameboy games. Missingno is surrounded by rumors, canon, and lots of mystery, so I figured it would fit the segment criteria, I hope you enjoy the video.
In todays edition of Gaming Mysteries, Im taking a look at the Super Mario 64 Beta. The game originated on the SNES with an unreleased prototype, and was then moved to the Ultra 64. What kind of things were left out of the final version? Well, youll find that out in the video.
People have often looked up to the sky and thought to themselves wheres Luigi?! okay maybe not, but pretty close. The answer of where he is, or isnt I should say, has been answered, BUT THE MYSTERY GOES ON! KINDA! So in todays Gaming Mysteries I discuss the mystery of Luigi in Super Mario 64.
To end this trio of Super Mario 64 related Gaming Mysteries, I'm going to be talking about the unreleased Super Mario 64 2. The game was set to come out on the 64DD, it would have multiplayer and Luigi would be in the game! However, the game was canceled very early in its development, so early that I couldn't find a lot of info, I hope you enjoy the episode anyways.
Resident Evil 4 was undoubtedly a fantastic game. But before we got the finished product the game underwent many betas and builds. The changes made to the game would have resulted in it playing completely different, and another change resulted in a new game altogether, so today on Gaming Mysteries I talk about the various builds, betas, and prototypes of Resident Evil 4.
Final Fantasy IV was undoubtedly a fantastic game. But the game we know as Final Fantasy IV was almost Final Fantasy V. As for what was the actual Final Fantasy IV? Well that game is doomed to obscurity, unfortunately. So today on Gaming Mysteries I talk about the Final Fantasy IV Concept for the NES, or Famicom.
Final Fantasy VII is regarded as the greatest role playing game of all time. Of course, that statement is highly debatable, but I will say that it is a great game. The games various planning stages presented a completely different story, different console releases. While the beta left many ascetic changes to the game, all of which I find very interesting. So today on Gaming Mysteries I talk about the beta, and history, of Final Fantasy 7.
Metroid Prime was a fantastic game. It successfully brought the 2D game into a 3D FPS style game. It's a game I love, and a game I get lost in frequently. But in it's early beta stages the game would have actually been played from a different perspective. Something similar to Metroid Other M. So today on Gaming Mysteries I take a look at the Metroid Prime Beta.
I like many others share a love of the Earthbound or Mother franchise. They're all such great and original RPG's. But there was an installment into that series that didn't have a chance to come out. It was planned for the N64, but was ultimately canceled, so today on Gaming Mysteries I talk about the unreleased game, Earthbound 64.
Fallout 3 is a game that I loved to death. It's probably my favorite game this gen, and I just can't get enough of it, even though it was a HUGE departure from the previous titles in the franchise. But did you know that Fallout 3 was originally supposed to be like those original Fallout games? Today in Gaming Mysteries, I talk about the unreleased original version of Fallout 3 simply called, Van Buren.
I started this segment, Gaming Mysteries, about one year ago from today. The segment has gained more success then I thought it would, so I kept doing it, and here we are! I decided it would be cool to redo my first episode, which when compared to newer stuff isn't that good. Today on Gaming Mysteries, I'm taking a look at a very early beta version of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. In these early stages, the game looked completely different. What changes lie within the beta? Find out in my video!
The 64DD initially held a lot of potential. Potential for bigger games, as well as additional content. One such game to feature additional content was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The expansion was called Ura Zelda and it would add new dungeons, quests, and items to the game. Find out all about it in today's Gaming Mysteries.
Mario Kart 64 was an amazing game, but like a lot of games it too held a beta version. Although it's beta didn't differ too much from the final counter part. However, this has been requested and I have wanted to talk about it. So today on Gaming Mysteries, I take a look at the early version of Mario Kart 64 called Super Mario Kart R.
Today on Gaming Mysteries I talk about Star Fox 2, which is of course the cancelled sequel to the original Star Fox. While initially seeming like an innovative and worth sequel, it would soon be shot down, by Miyamoto of all people. With a six shooter, I imagine.
I'm a huge fan of fighting games, as such I'm always on the look out for both new and old ones. One fighting game I came across many years ago was Capcom Fighting All-Stars for the PS2 and Arcade. The title would pit characters from different Capcom games against one another, in a 3D style fighting game. The game was never released though, so today on Gaming Mysteries I talk about it.
Sonic X-treme! *guitar solo* the unreleased savior of the Saturn?

Where someone dares to ask the question that was answered long ago with a solid no, and that is, are Pokemon real?
