Hoping to prevent the ceremony from happening, the mysterious boy stood in front of the Konan palace. In the palace, Miaka is ready to summon Suzaku. When Suzaku didn’t appear, the traitor revealed himself as a Seriyu Seven, Amiboshi. Amiboshi uses his flute to kill Miaka and the Suzaku Seven, while another flute-music disrupts his wavelength to save them. Amiboshi rushes out while Tamahome, Tasuki, Chichiri, and Miaka go after him. Miaka tries to save Amiboshi from falling but it’s too late. The real Chiriko introduces himself, and they begin to summon Suzaku again but can’t. Taiitsukun tells Miaka that there is another way and she must travel to the land of Genbu.
宮廷の朱雀廟にてついに朱雀召喚の儀式がはじまった。美朱の唱える祝詞と共に炎の中に四神天地書がなげこまれるのだが、なぜか何もおこらず、朱雀が現れる気配すらない。その時、朱雀廟に張宿の笛の音が響き渡り、不気味なその音色に頭を抱える美朱たち。美朱たちがこれまで張宿だと信じていた彼は、心宿により送りこまれた青龍七星士・亢宿（あみぼし）だったのだ。亢宿の放つ音の攻撃を防ぐことができず、美朱たちにはなすすべがない。このままでは殺されてしまう……。そこに、亢宿の放つ音波を崩すかのように、どこからかべつの音が聞こえてきて……。
Espérant empêcher la cérémonie d'avoir lieu, le mystérieux garçon se tient devant le palais Konan. Dans le palais, Miaka est prête à invoquer Suzaku. Lorsque Suzaku n'apparaît pas, le traître se révèle être un Seriyu Seven, Amiboshi. Amiboshi utilise sa flûte pour tuer Miaka et les Suzaku Seven, tandis qu'une autre musique de flûte perturbe sa longueur d'onde pour les sauver. Amiboshi se précipite tandis que Tamahome, Tasuki, Chichiri et Miaka le poursuivent. Miaka essaie de sauver Amiboshi de la chute mais il est trop tard. Le vrai Chiriko se présente et ils recommencent à invoquer Suzaku mais n'y parviennent pas. Taiitsukun dit à Miaka qu'il existe un autre moyen et qu'elle doit se rendre au pays de Genbu.
